Resorts and apartments
There are resorts and apartments spread along Charlton Esplanade, just across from the beach, and there are several more around the marina at Urangan.
Even though a resort or apartment complex may be just across from the beach not all apartments in that complex may have water views and you should check with the managers before making a booking.
All resorts and apartments have off-street parking and many of them provide secure under-cover parking for guests’ vehicles.
Most units have well-equipped kitchens but if you plan on eating out you will find that some complexes are quite close to a good selection of cafes and restaurants while others are a little further away.
Most of the motel accommodation in Hervey Bay is within easy walk of the beach and the Emeraldine Motel, located close to the Hervey Bay hospitals has a swimming pool.
There are three caravan parks located along the beachfront in Hervey Bay and a number of others located in other parts of the town.
The three beachfront caravan parks do not have cabin accommodation and swimming pools and are limited to caravans and tents. The other caravan parks in Hervey Bay offer cabin accommodation, swimming pools and have more amenities.
